Shooting crew – temporary production and creative team directly working on the content creation. Our team includes:

• Camera man – person who operates a camera for television or movie productions. He is responsible for the level of photographic shooting. He realizes the intentions of the scriptwriter and director in the image. In order for the viewer to experience the necessary emotions, he uses lighting methods, lenses, photographic models, which demonstrates mood, atmosphere and visual style. He chooses for each shooting plan, builds the composition, as well as the motion scheme of the camera. Also he selects lighting equipment to achieve the desired effect,he orders lighting devices, gives instructions about organization of lighting and placement of cameras on the site.

• Camera engineer – person who operates video or motion picture -camera to record images or scenes for different purposes, such as TV broadcasts, advertising, video production, or motion pictures.

• Assistant – monitors the shooting schedule and he is responsible for its observance. The assistant is responsible for dealing with current operational issues like, calling actors or members of the team on the position, urgent resolution of money issues. He allows to focus on the creative aspects of video production.

• Focus puller – is responsible for the accents in the frame. Some objects appear to the viewer clear and sharp, and some blurry. Very important part is change of focus on different objects in a moving or dynamic frame. In addition, the use of artistic focusing techniques requires special virtuosity and creativity. The work of the focus puller is important, because image quality depends on it. The technical marriage of bad focusing is impossible to correct and makes the material unusable and its doesnt matter how many funds were invested in the production.

• Lightning crew – a specialist who helps to shoot in any conditions to get the necessary image, perfectly aligned in terms of lighting. This team consists of gaffer, best boy and sparks.

  • Gaffer – is a leader of team responsible for filming and other issues related to electrical appliances during filming. Gaffer directly reports to the camera man and monitors the exact execution of his instructions regarding the lighting of the stage.
  • Best boy – is an assistant of gaffer. He orders the necessary lighting equipment and gives instructions to groups of lighting workers.
  • Sparks – provide functioning and maintain lighting equipment. At the direction of Gaffer, they select specific equipment, mount it, raise it, lower it and wait for gaffer to turn it on or off.
